CBR Network
Started in Spring 2008, the CBR Network invites researchers (faculty, staff, students, and community members) from all disciplines to share strategies, resources, and experiences related to conducting research that takes place in community settings, involves community members in the design and implementation of research projects, and serves a community-identified purpose or need.

“Staying Current in Your Research”
Featuring speakers Beth Williams, & Amy Archambault, Library Services for Distance & Online Learning
It’s vital for academics to keep up-to-date with the most recently published information and research in their fields. Many key journals in your field are indexed in databases the library subscribes to but you don’t need to come to the library to peruse the journals. Table of Content journal alerts and key word search alerts can be emailed to you, or you can subscribe to a journals’ RSS feed through a free RSS reader. This session will cover how to set up these email alerts and how to subscribe to RSS feeds through Bloglines and Google Reader. Attendees will have the hands-on opportunity to set up their own personal alerts and feeds during this session.
