Community Film Screening: “Suicide: The Ripple Effect” in the UNCG Auditorium.
Join us for an exclusive community screening of Suicide: The Ripple Effect. The film highlights the journey of Kevin Hines, who at age 19, attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Today Kevin is a world-renowned mental health advocate, motivational speaker and author who travels the globe spreading a message of hope, recovery and wellness. The film chronicles Kevin’s personal journey and the ripple effect it has on those who have been impacted by his suicide attempt and his life's work since. In addition, the film highlights the stories of individuals and families who are utilizing their personal tragedy to bring hope and healing to others. Through sharing stories of survival and recovery we are creating significant awareness of this health crisis, while helping people find the support they need to stay alive, heal and #BeHereTomorrow!

Come on out for a new night of comedy, presented by Joseph Tran! As Joseph says himself, Magic gets a bad rep for being the cringy form of live entertainment. You’ve probably seen a lot of bad magic or, even worse, a really bad/creepy/weird magician. Everybody has. Magic is actually really hard to do right. Not just getting the physical stuff right, but also being the kind of person that people won’t run away from when they see you across the room waving a deck of cards.Want to see how he does it? Come on over to our show, but don't forget your Student ID! Is your family in town for Spartan Family Weekend- bring them!
